Dear Readers,

Hey!!!
I am the 4th grade student, Hana and I am going to teach you some Indonesian for my class assignment. I have to(actually) because my teacher gave us the assignment to pick a language and learn it. If you want to know the tasks and the assignments look at This page and read the page to find the blog. But if you can't find the page, just Click here and it will automatically go to the blog.
You probably didn't know this but languages are dying out quite quickly.
-At least one in every two weeks
Big, big, dominant languages (English, French, and Spanish) take over. How do they do that? That is the scariest thing about the languages. Lets take... Australia for an example. When the Europeans came to Australia, they took over the aboriginal (the people from the beginning), not only the people. Also the LANGUAGE!!! They, the aboriginal of coarse, were put in to concentration camps and the children (never mind about their parents) were adopted from the British and forced to speak English. And... you know what happens after that. (The language died out and the land is now belonged to the British.) Both my parents speak Indonesian but my sister and I don't (I mean I use to). I was born in Indonesia and I use to speak Indonesian but now it is nowhere to be found in my head so I decided to learn this interesting language of pronunciations and snippets once again. I hope you enjoy learning because it might be quite hard for you guys. Wait, my mom just told me that it isn't hard at all. Sorry my mistake. She also said that there are no alphabets for it self, it uses the "ABC". My native Indonesian speaker, my mom added it has no confusing words like in Korean or Japanese. Anyways see you soon, on my blog site. I need to finish this blog in about 2 weeks.

P.S. I'm going to do a countdown until the deadline.

P.S. That doesn't mean that I am not going to post anything forever,
it just means that I am not going to post that much... bye for now !!!

A Poem of Languages

Salamat pagi!
Here is a poem of languages:

You take some language and you mix it up like flour, eggs, and milk
You mix it up until it makes a new language but...
Before you speak take some grammar and vocabularies
like salt and pepper and shake it all up a couple of times
And see, you just made a new language and.. you might be speaking it now!

By Hana
(Translated to Indonesian)

Anda mengambil beberapa bahasa dan Anda mencampurnya seperti tepung, telur, dan susu
Anda mencampurnya sampai membuat bahasa baru tapi ...
Sebelum Anda berbicara mengambil beberapa tata bahasa dan kosakata
seperti garam dan merica dan kocok semuanya beberapa kali
Dan lihat, Anda hanya membuat bahasa baru dan .. Anda mungkin berbicara itu sekarang!

A Famous Poem in Indonesian

I opened my bedroom window,
                           God greet"What you want today?"
"God," I said, "merdekakan jiwajiwa oppressed"
God smiled at the smell of roses Nuriku smelling and faintly singing
I opened the nest, reach out, and touch
He stared in disbelief
 I nod
He flew into the blue sky
Good morning Lord

Thank you

HANA :)
